Today (14th July 2012) Google shows below Doodle on its home page for honoring an Austrian Painter “Gustav Klimt” on his 150th Birthday.

Gustav Klimt was born on July 14, 1862 in Baumgarten, near Vienna in Austria-Hungary. His major works include paintings, murals, sketches, and other art objects.

One  interesting fact about Gustav Klimt is that his Adele Bloch-Bauer I (shown below) sold in 2006 at auction for $135 million which is more than any other painting ever had before.
